Sam Kieth is one of those artists whose styles is instantly recognizable.  He has an incredible eye for detail and form.  He has a 3D brain and can see anything he imagines in more that 2 dimensions.  He also has an amazing way of mixing the detail renderings with the spontaneous, accidental.  This brings a very fresh and exciting look to most of what he does.  I think it was his Wolverine covers that i first noticed as a kid.  They were so great. Totally ‘comic book’ and totally skilled.  Very fresh compared to the standard artist of the time.  His work never gets old to me and has influence my hand drawn work probably more than anyone else.  the best way to find his work is to simply google Sam Kieth Art and search images.
